2007 Clinton Arrow Swim Team Schedule
Open to Students in Grades 7-12 Students in Grades 9-12 may earn 1/2 credit per year. Be on a great swim team, have fun, and represent Clinton High School! The season begins on August 13, 2007, at 6:00 a.m. at the Clinton YMCA with a week to try-it. It ends with the MHSSAA State Championship Meet on October 27, 2007. For more information, Contact Coach Eddie Ware at 601-209-3193, Tammy Vaughan at 601-924-2968 or Debbie Harris at 601-750-9743 Swimmers will be told as the meets near what the transportation will be. Usually, a Clinton Public Schools bus is used to transport swimmers and coaches only to the meets. Parents may follow in their own vehicles. Swimmers need to bring snacks and spending money to each meet. Concession stands are usually at the meets if swimmers forget to bring snacks. “Good” snacks for swimmers include fruit (grapes, blueberries, apricots), dry cereals, trail mixes, yogurt, fruit bars, etc. Drinks include water, fruit juices, Gatorade or Powerade. “Bad” snacks include soft drinks, candy bars, or greasy foods. The team has two coolers containing water and Gatorade. Occasionally, the bus may stop for food on the way home after a meet. This is determined on a meet by meet basis. Swimmers who qualify for the State Meet will have a hotel room and one meal provided on that trip. Snacks and money for other meals should be sent with the swimmer for that meet. Planning Meeting for CAST Meet	September 11	YMCA Day Care Building	6:30 p.m. Need all parents involved and present! HEAT SHEET MONEY and ADS are due! FINAL Order for equipments/etc. due
St Aloysius Meet	September 15	Vicksburg	Be at Clinton High School at 8:30 a.m. Wear red T-shirt – will take picture Bus leaves at 9:00 a.m. Warm-ups at 10:00 a.m. Meet begins at 11:00 a.m.
Madison Central Meet	October 6	Lakeland Courthouse	Be at Lakeland Courthouse at 9:45 a.m. Warm-ups at 10:00 a.m. Meet begins at 11:00 a.m.
North State Meet Clinton to Host	October 20	Lakeland Courthouse	Parents/swimmers be at Lakeland Courthouse no later than 9:00 a.m. Warm-ups begin at 10:15 Meet begins at 12:00 p.m.
State Meet	October 27	Cleveland, MS	Qualified Swimmers will leave on Friday. Warm-ups at 8:30 a.m. Meet begins at 10:30 a.m.
CAST Banquet	DATE CHANGE!! November 4	Episcopal Church of the Creator Clinton-Raymond Road	2:00 p.m. TIME CHANGE!!!! Awards and Pot Luck Lunch Bring your cameras.
