CONSENT FORMS
High School Swim Team practice will begin in early August, although we don't have a definite date yet. Coach Eddie is REQUIRING swimmers to have the physical form, the parent permission form (front / back) from the high school to participate on team and the CAST Rules Form brought to FIRST SWIM PRACTICE in order to swim.

STAR SPORTSMANSHIP
Every athlete MUST complete the STAR SPORTSMANSHIP to be eligible to compete in MS athletics - Coach Eddie would like swimmers to complete this by August 16th. Type in the school that you attend to get the correct STAR Code - if you have done this in previous years for any Clinton sports, you do not have to do again.

SWIM SUITS
Coach Eddie has also picked out suits that are mandatory for this swim season (if you have questions about this or are financially unable to purchase, contact Coach Eddie at 601-209-3193.). We have made arrangements for swimmers to order their swimsuits directly from All American Swim Supply (If you need assistance in ordering online, contact Tammy Vaughan at 601-924-2968 or Cliff Johnson at 601-940-1357). They have set up a Clinton High School team page that has the suits that Coach Eddie has approved for swimmers to order. Each suit will have the Clinton Arrow with the C on it. THE SUITS MUST BE ORDERED NO LATER THAN AUGUST 13TH IN ORDER TO HAVE IT ARRIVE BY THE FIRST MEET ON AUGUST 30TH.

SWIM MEETS
This season, swimmers will ride a bus to ALL meets.  Everyone meets at the high school parking lot at a specified time. Only Coach Eddie and the swimmers are allowed on the bus to out of town meets. Parents may follow in their cars.  All swimmers must attend the entire swim meet.  NO swimmer is allowed to leave the premises without the coach’s knowledge and consent.

SUPPLIES
SWIMMERS need snacks, water, sunscreen, towels, chair, and some extra money. Concession stands are usually at the meets if swimmers forget to bring snacks. Do not forget caps, goggles and a swim suit. Also, swimmers must wear their Red Team T-Shirt to the meets.  Swimmers cannot wear Makos/Sunkist or other team suits/caps to meets.  Also, swimmers cannot wear any type of jewelry, i.e., earrings, watches, necklaces, etc.  Swimmers need to bring extra drinks. “Good” snacks for swimmers are fruits, dry cereals, trail mixes, yogurt, fruit bars, etc.  Appropriate drinks are water, fruit juices, Gatorade, etc.   Big NO-NOs are cokes, candy bars and greasy foods before or during a meet. They will swim better with the good stuff! Occasionally, the bus may stop for food on the way home after a meet. This is determined on a meet-by-meet basis.

PARENTS
need a chair, sunscreen and snacks/drinks. Bring money for heat sheets and admittance fees for each meet (Parents and spectators pay a high school charge of $3 or $4 to get in the meets). We do not pay at our own meet and swimmers do not pay at any meet at the gate.
